Molly Samuel-Leport KSE and KE Board member awarded MBE

Molly Samuel-Leport - 7 Times World Karate Champion and Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Walthamstow has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2015 New Year’s honours.

I received great news from the Cabinet Office about 4 weeks ago explaining that the Prime Minister accepted the honours committee recommendation for me to be honoured, in the Queen’s 2015 New Year Honours with an MBE.  I was sworn to secrecy but by now most people would’ve heard the great news through social media. I am pleased to announce that I have been bestowed with being honoured as a Member of the British Empire and look forward to receiving an (MBE) medal from Queen Elizabeth 11, later in the year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support…

Thanks you

Kate Redmond (Conservative candidate for Luton South),

Sue Mott (A  champion for promoting women in sport)

Sensei Ticky Donavan OBE

Sensei Bob Poynton

John Bell

My students

Jasmine Boure, Hanna Iqbal, Nasna Iqbal

… and last but not least, my husband Jerry and my girls Sharline and Elizabeth…   Thanks everyone, have a pucker New Year. I will!

Molly Samuel-Leport

PPC for Walthamstow -

The KSE and KE executive board would like to congratulate Molly for the achievement of this award which is well deserved and long overdue.
